I'm pretty sure I found a correlation here. I'll propose that the first video (the very real FreeCreditReport.com commercial) provided the inspiration for the second video (the very genius fake commercial created by Tim & Eric staring Rainn Wilson of The Office fame). See if you agree:

hahahaha the ending is exactly like that of the Video Professor commercial, where he just sorta blurts out "Trymyproduct" right at the end.
